We had a wonderful time in the Twin Cities exploring the State Capitol, the History Center, and Fort Snelling.   Thanks to all the chaperones for spending the day with us.

Nona Krier came to the sixth grade room October 14th and showed them how to spin yarn using a spinning wheel.  She also shared various varieties of wool with the students.  The students really enjoyed learning from her.

Several of the children have had some late assignments already this year.  Any late assignment still will need to be completed, and the grade will go down by 20% each day that it is late (this means that after five days they will have a zero in the gradebook for that assignment). Students with late assignment will also be required to stay after school to complete the work.

ALL of the sixth grade students will need to test out of the multiplication facts 0 - 12.  They will be taking a quiz every day in class.  They will need to complete this by the end of second quarter ( I am hopeful that they will complete this way before then).   ALL HAVE COMPLETED this

goal!
